Our Story

In Dickson County, we're fortunate to have compassionate nonprofits, churches, and community organizations working tirelessly to serve those facing hardship. Yet through our relationships with these groups, we've observed a persistent reality: no matter how dedicated they are, gaps remain. Eligibility requirements, limited resources, and specific service areas mean that some neighbors in crisis still fall outside the reach of available help.

Meet the Need 615 exists to bridge those gaps. We're not here to replace the excellent work already happening in our community—we're here to complement it. When someone doesn't qualify for existing programs, when resources run dry before needs are met, or when circumstances don't fit neatly into established categories, we step in to ensure basic needs are addressed.

Based in Dickson and serving the surrounding areas, our mission is rooted in faith and driven by compassion. We believe that representing Jesus well means showing up for our neighbors in their most vulnerable moments—honoring the call to care for widows, orphans, and all who need support. Through practical assistance and genuine relationship, we're working to ensure that no one in our community goes without help simply because they don't fit a traditional mold.
